Some visitors looking for an Indian restaurant in Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) want a pure vegetarian or Jain meal like the one at home; others want butter chicken, garlic naan and a cold beer after a week of Vietnamese food. The two rarely point to the same restaurant.
The ten restaurants below are grouped by area and by what they serve. Prices come from their own menus where they publish them, checked on October 3, 2026, along with what the restaurants say about vegetarian, Jain and halal food.
Where to find Indian food in Da Nang
Head to the beach side of the Han River (sông Hàn) for the widest choice. Most of Da Nang's Indian restaurants are in Ngu Hanh Son ward (phường Ngũ Hành Sơn), the ward that takes in An Thuong (An Thượng), the hotel area near My Khe Beach (bãi biển Mỹ Khê), and two of them, Rang and Indian Aroma, hold a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.
On October 3, 2026, 34 of the 48 open Indian restaurant listings that could be found in the city were in Ngu Hanh Son ward and 12 in An Hai ward (phường An Hải), farther north on the same side of the river. West of the river, MAAZI Da Nang was the only one found in Hai Chau ward (phường Hải Châu), the city center.
The table lists the ten restaurants in this guide in the order they appear below, with the street each one is on and a sample price from its own menu. All but the last two are in Ngu Hanh Son ward.

A vegetarian thali, a full meal on one tray, costs 180,000 VND (about US$7) at Manvar Rasoi and 185,000 VND (about US$7) at Indian Aroma.
Michelin Bib Gourmand Indian restaurants: Rang and Indian Aroma
Book ahead for Rang, whose Google Maps listing says reservations are required, and expect to pay more there than at Indian Aroma: the MICHELIN Guide puts Rang in its "moderate spend" price band (₫₫) and Indian Aroma in "on a budget" (₫). Michelin awards a Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking, and both restaurants hold one in its 2026 guide.
Rang
Rang serves Indian food with Mediterranean and other international influences, and fine dining is the topic its Google reviews mention most. Its name is the Hindi word for color, and the MICHELIN Guide's inspectors suggest chicken tikka to start, then dal tadka with roti or naan, or biryani. Visitors often praise the garlic naan and the staff. The menu includes beef and pork, such as beef rogan josh and masala pork belly, which matters if you avoid either. The newest menu on Rang's website is from July 2024, and it priced butter chicken at 290,000 VND (about US$11) plus a 5% service charge and VAT.

Vegetarian and Jain Indian restaurants
Say "Jain" when you order if you avoid onion, garlic and root vegetables, because both of these vegetarian restaurants cook Jain dishes, and the Gujarat chain advises asking for Jain preparation when you order. Both are in Ngu Hanh Son ward, on Do Ba street (Đỗ Bá) and Le Quang Dao street.
Gujarat Indian Restaurant
Gujarat Indian Restaurant says it serves only vegetarian food and lists no alcohol, and pure vegetarian, Gujarati and Jain food are the topics its Google reviews mention most. It belongs to a chain with branches in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Sa Pa and Phu Quoc and one in Bali, and in Da Nang it opens at 8:00 am, early enough for breakfast. Visitors often praise the thalis and the prices, but several low-rated reviews mention slow service. On the chain's website menu, which gives no date, vegetable biryani costs 100,000 VND (about US$4), a dosa 120,000 VND (about US$4.5) and Gujarat special khichdi 130,000 VND (about US$5).

Rasoi Indian
Rasoi Indian, on Le Quang Dao street, describes its food as vegan, vegetarian and Jain, with a separate Jain menu and Indian-Chinese dishes, though its Google listing includes beer. That listing gives 8:30 am–11:00 pm daily, but the restaurant's own website gives 11:30 am–4:30 pm and 6:30 pm–midnight for the Da Nang branch. The website says the Da Nang branch takes groups of up to 50 people and its sister restaurant in Hoi An, part of Da Nang city since July 1, 2025, takes up to 200. Visitors often praise the staff and the paneer dishes, especially the paneer tikka, but several low-rated reviews mention long waits. Its website gives prices only for tour groups, and diners on Google put the cost at 100,000–600,000 VND (about US$4–23.5) a person.

Indian restaurants in An Hai and Hai Chau wards
Look here if you are staying north of An Thuong or in the city center: Benaras Central is in An Hai ward on the beach side, and MAAZI Da Nang is on Tran Phu street (Trần Phú) in Hai Chau ward, west of the river.
Benaras Central
Benaras Central is the Da Nang branch of Benaras, an Indian restaurant group with restaurants in Singapore and across Vietnam, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and it says Indian chefs cook its north and south Indian dishes. It says vegetarian, vegan, Jain and halal options are available, and it also serves alcohol. Visitors often praise the food as authentic, but some low-rated reviews say dishes were spicier than expected, so state your spice level clearly. Its menu, posted on the chain's website in September 2026, prices butter chicken at 259,000 VND (about US$10) and chicken biryani at 229,000 VND (about US$9), plus a 5% service charge and VAT, and it charges 480,000 VND (about US$18.5) plus service and tax for each item of food or drink brought in from outside.

MAAZI Da Nang
MAAZI Da Nang suits travelers staying in the city center: it is open until midnight, has a bar with craft beer and cider brewed in Da Nang, and serves south Indian dishes as well as north Indian ones. Pani puri is the dish its Google reviews mention most, ahead of masala dosa and lamb madras. Visitors often praise the butter chicken, the garlic naan and the gulab jamun, though some low-rated reviews call the portions small for the price. It has no website, and diners on Google put the cost at 100,000–500,000 VND (about US$4–19.5) a person.

Halal Indian food in Da Nang
Ask the staff before you order if you eat only halal food, because as of October 3, 2026, the websites of the restaurants above show no halal certificate. Indian Aroma says it serves halal meat dishes and Benaras Central lists halal options, but both also serve alcohol, while Bhojan Indian Restaurant says many of its dishes are suitable for Muslim-friendly dining, without calling them halal, and invites guests to ask staff about specific dishes. Rang's menu includes pork dishes such as masala pork belly.
Lazeez Indian Restaurant, on Pham Van Dong street (Phạm Văn Đồng) in An Hai ward, calls itself 100% halal in its Google Maps name and lists no alcohol; ask whether it holds a halal certificate if you need one. In December 2025 the newspaper Bao Van Hoa reported that more than 10 places in Da Nang held halal food certification, including Sun World Ba Na Hills and Halal Indrapura.
Indian restaurants that have closed, moved or are not Indian
Check the name and address before you go, because some names on older lists have moved, closed or are not Indian restaurants at all.
| Restaurant | Address given | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Mumtaz Indian Restaurant | 24 An Thuong 6 (An Thượng 6) | Moved and renamed Indian Aroma, at 69 Hoai Thanh street |
| Indian Curry Restaurant | 110 Pham Cu Luong (Phạm Cự Lượng) | Google Maps shows no restaurant at this address |
| The Eatery | 118–120 Vo Nguyen Giap street | A hotel breakfast buffet, not an Indian restaurant |
The MICHELIN Guide notes Indian Aroma's move. An Indian Curry Restaurant listing at 48 Chau Thi Vinh Te (Châu Thị Vĩnh Tế), Ngu Hanh Son ward, is marked temporarily closed, and how it relates to the 110 Pham Cu Luong address is unclear. The Eatery, which appears on Tripadvisor's list of Indian restaurants in Da Nang, is the breakfast buffet of the Four Points by Sheraton Danang hotel, open 6:00–10:30 am, with Indian and halal dishes among others. The statuses were checked on October 3, 2026. For Vietnamese food in the same areas, see the guide to Da Nang street food.
Sources and how we checked
We chose ten restaurants that were open, had reviews from 2026 and either publish a menu on their own website or are in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, favoring those that rank high in Google Maps searches for Indian food in Da Nang. Two exceptions are MAAZI Da Nang, which has no website but was the only Indian restaurant found in Hai Chau ward, and Rasoi Indian, whose website gives prices only for tour groups but which came first in a Google Maps search for vegetarian Indian food. Indus Indian Restaurant, which also meets these criteria, was left out to make room for a second vegetarian restaurant. Restaurants whose only web page is on Facebook, such as MAMA MASALA and Lazeez, and smaller ones with fewer than 50 Google reviews, such as Himalaya Indian Restaurant, are not on the list. The count of 48 open Indian restaurant listings comes from Google Maps searches on October 3, 2026, and includes two listings at Indian Aroma's address; results change between searches, so it is not a full count. We checked prices, hours, addresses and phone numbers on October 3, 2026, on each restaurant's website and Google Maps listing, and read the MICHELIN Guide pages the same day, then rechecked Rasoi Indian's website and Indian Aroma's MICHELIN Guide page on October 5, 2026; where two sources differ, both are given. Google reviews were used only for what at least two visitors praised or complained about, and for the topics Google Maps groups from reviews. No photo of Maharaja Indian Restaurant, Gujarat Indian Restaurant, Rasoi Indian or MAAZI Da Nang met this guide's standard, so those sections have none. US dollar amounts use Vietcombank's transfer rate of 25,800 VND per US$ on October 1, 2026, rounded to the nearest cent below US$1, US$0.5 up to US$100, US$1 up to US$10,000 and US$1,000 above that.
