Planning an afternoon at one of the Da Nang hot springs, whether you start from Da Nang (Đà Nẵng) or Hoi An (Hội An), has a few ways to go wrong. The ticket price changes from page to page, the ride out from the city center may come with no clear ride back, and a "hot spring" can turn out to be a bathhouse that uses imported minerals.
Three questions come up before booking: which place has natural hot spring water, what a day there costs, and how you get home afterward.

Where can you bathe in a hot spring near Da Nang?
If you want hot spring water rather than a heated pool, check what each place actually is before you go. Of the five Da Nang-area places in the table below, only Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park (Công viên suối khoáng nóng Núi Thần Tài), in Hoa Vang commune (xã Hòa Vang) on National Highway 14G, offers bathing in what the Da Nang tourism portal (Danang Fantasticity) calls natural hot mineral water. It is listed as open daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with no closure notice as of October 13, 2026, and the other two places listed as open are onsen-style bathhouses.
The table sorts the five by what the sources say about the water and whether they are open.
| Place | Water | Status on October 13, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park | Natural hot mineral water | Listed open daily, 8:30 am–5:30 pm |
| Phuoc Nhon (Phước Nhơn) | Natural spring, 43–48°C (109–118°F) | Permanently closed, per Google Maps |
| Galina (Da Nang address) | Mud bath | Mud bath listed only in Nha Trang |
| Mikazuki Onsen (Hải Vân ward) | Minerals imported from Japan | Listed open |
| Cham Riverside (Hòa Xuân) | Onsen; water source not stated | Listed open |
The Phuoc Nhon figures come from a state directory of mineral springs, 43–46°C (109–115°F), and a 2025 study, 47–48°C (117–118°F); a Furama hotel blog updated October 6, 2025 lists the resort among Da Nang's hot springs with water at 37–40°C (99–104°F). Galina's own site lists a restaurant at 254 Võ Nguyên Giáp, its Da Nang address, and the mud bath only at its Nha Trang hotel. Mikazuki says its onsen uses minerals imported from Japan, and its onsen page gives no ticket price. Cham Riverside pairs an onsen with a jjimjilbang (Korean-style bathhouse).
Cham Riverside's prices differ by source: its website lists an unlimited onsen and jjimjilbang ticket at 290,000 VND (about US$11) for adults, while an owner post on its Google Maps profile gives a list price of 350,000 VND (about US$13.5) and an October offer of 190,000 VND (about US$7.5) for advance bookings through the Cham Fanpage or Zalo, not valid on weekends or holidays.
DHC Suoi Doi Joint Stock Company (Công ty Cổ phần DHC Suối Đôi) calls itself the owner and operator of Nui Than Tai in its 2024 annual report. Sun Paradise Land, Sun Group's travel brand, publishes a guide to the park that suggests adding a visit to Sun World Ba Na Hills. The guide does not say Sun Group owns or runs the park, so this guide treats its prices as a third party's.
Nui Than Tai ticket prices for 2026
Ticket prices for Nui Than Tai differ from page to page, so check the date of whatever page you are reading. The standard Nui Than Tai ticket costs 490,000 VND (about US$19) for an adult, according to the Da Nang tourism portal's park price page of April 14, 2026.
Children pay by height, not age: those under 1 m are free, those from 1 m to under 1.4 m pay half the adult price, and anyone 1.4 m or taller pays the adult price. The portal's citywide admission table of January 22, 2026 lists a children's price of 245,000 VND (about US$9.5), half the adult price. The park price page also lists these packages, and says Tích Lộc and Detox 01 include the standard ticket:
| Package | Adult price | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|
| Standard (phổ thông) | 490,000 VND (about US$19) | Entry and the facilities listed below |
| Dưỡng Tuệ Phát Thụ | 390,000 VND (about US$15) | For guests using services after 2 pm |
| Nạp Khí | 670,000 VND (about US$26) | Mud bath |
| Nạp Khí 2 | 570,000 VND (about US$22) | Package for guests using services after 2 pm |
| Tích Lộc | 755,000 VND (about US$29.5) | Lunch, buffet or set menu |
| Detox 01 | 920,000 VND (about US$35.5) | 60-minute full-body massage (stone, bamboo) |
The page also lists Detox 02 at 670,000 VND (about US$26) for a 30-minute foot massage, Detox 03 at 850,000 VND (about US$33) for a foot massage, mud soak and herbal or green tea bath, and Detox 04 at 1,100,000 VND (about US$42.5) for a 60-minute full-body massage with therapeutic baths. It also lists Lộc Phát at 755,000 VND (about US$29.5) and Phát Lộc at 865,000 VND (about US$33.5); both add a hot pot or barbecue combo to the standard ticket. Barbecue versions of several packages are listed as well.
Other pages quote lower prices for the standard ticket. A Sun Paradise Land article of December 2, 2025 gives 400,000 VND (about US$15.5) for adults, and an undated price list image on the park's own website shows 450,000 VND (about US$17.5). That image was archived on March 15, 2025, so it predates the portal's 2026 pages.
The park's own website, nuithantai.vn, showed a hosting "Account Suspended" page on October 13, 2026. Its booking site, ticket.nuithantai.vn, was still online, with a banner offering 5% off tickets bought through it.
On October 13, 2026, Traveloka showed an entrance ticket at US$18.93 and a partial-day ticket for entry after 2:00 pm at US$12.74. Viator listed a private trip with hotel pickup in the Hải Châu, Sơn Trà and Ngũ Hành Sơn areas of Da Nang, from US$103 per person for two travelers for an afternoon hot mineral bath and US$127–143 with a mud bath; the page says the price varies by group size.
What the standard ticket covers, and what costs extra
Before you add anything, it helps to know what the standard ticket already includes. The standard ticket covers the Thần Tài temple, bathing in natural hot mineral water, the Japanese-style onsen, steam rooms, the water park, a lazy river, a dinosaur park and 9D–12D films, while mud baths, spa treatments and meals cost extra, according to the Da Nang tourism portal's park page of April 14, 2026.
The portal also names a foot-soak, hot and cold jacuzzis, a Himalayan salt steam room, a sauna and a wet steam room.

The portal's park page and the park's own website list these charges on top of the ticket:
- Mud bath: 200,000 VND (about US$8) per guest, with at least two guests per tub, according to the park's own website (archived February 20, 2026). A guest who wants a tub alone pays 100,000 VND (about US$4) more. A VIP mud bath for up to two guests costs 500,000 VND (about US$19.5) per tub.
- Other themed baths, also with a two-guest minimum: lemongrass, green tea and herbal baths cost 200,000 VND (about US$8) per guest, coffee or milk baths 250,000 VND (about US$9.5), and wine baths 300,000–400,000 VND (about US$11.5–15.5). Booking a tub alone adds 100,000–250,000 VND (about US$4–9.5), depending on the bath.
- Spa treatments: priced separately from entry, from 200,000 VND (about US$8) for a foot massage. Each service costs 50,000 VND (about US$2) more after 5:30 pm.
A Sun Paradise Land article says combo packages such as premium onsen, spa treatments or the mud arena cost extra. This guide follows the portal's list for the standard ticket, which is newer.
Getting there, and getting back
Nui Than Tai is far from the city center, so plan the ride home before the ride out. The Da Nang tourism portal's 2026 bus guide (information to August 21, 2026) does not list a route to the park, and the only line it lists toward the Ba Na area, line 03 from Da Nang airport, ends at Ba Na Hills. Travel pages disagree: Origin Vietnam's guide says several bus routes go to Than Tai Mountain, while Hoi An Day Trip says there is no public transport to the park from nearby cities and VietnamSpot says no city bus runs there. Confirm a route before you count on a bus.
Without a bus, the options the sources list are a taxi or Grab car, a rented motorbike, or a tour or transfer sold with the ticket. For the airport end of line 03, see the Da Nang airport guide; for the Ba Na Hills end, see the Ba Na Hills tickets guide.
Sources also disagree on the distance from the city center. The park's own 2025 website said about 20 km (12 miles), nearly 30 minutes by car. A Sun Paradise Land article of December 2, 2025 says about 30 km (19 miles) and 40–50 minutes. The newspaper Sài Gòn Giải Phóng wrote on April 12, 2025 that the park is about 35 km (22 miles) northwest of the center. From Hoi An, VietnamSpot gives about 55 km (34 miles), an hour by car, and a Grab at 400,000–500,000 VND (about US$15.5–19.5), while Hoi An Day Trip says 40 km (25 miles).
For a car, the pages checked on October 13, 2026 quote these prices. The travel blog VietnamSpot gives 300,000–400,000 VND (about US$11.5–15.5) for a one-way Grab or taxi ride and round-trip taxis with waiting time from 800,000 VND (about US$31), and Sun Paradise Land gives taxis and rental cars from 400,000 VND (about US$15.5) per trip. Traveloka sells a round-trip shuttle bus transfer from Da Nang city for US$9.23 and a private round-trip transfer for US$35.63, both only with an entrance ticket; its page gives no pickup point.
The harder part is the way back. VietnamSpot says there are almost no Grab drivers at the park, so this guide suggests arranging the return ride before you leave the city. You can ask your driver to wait, which the blog prices at an extra 100,000–200,000 VND (about US$4–8) for 4–5 hours, book a round-trip taxi, or buy a transfer with the ticket.
If you ride yourself, Sun Paradise Land puts motorbike rental at 100,000–150,000 VND (about US$4–6) a day, and Hoi An Day Trip warns that the road is steep. The motorbike rental guide covers licence rules and rental terms.
Whichever way you go, the park is on National Highway 14G. On September 28, 2025, VOH reported that during Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) rock and mud from a hillside covered the highway about 2 km (1 mile) west of the park; the report does not say the park closed. For storm closures and where to follow warnings, see the Da Nang rainy season guide.
Opening hours and busy days
If you are fitting the park into a day trip, you need its opening and closing times. Nui Than Tai opens daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, according to the Da Nang tourism portal and the park's Google Maps listing. The portal's pages give no last-entry time; the after 2 pm packages leave at most 3.5 hours inside the listed hours.
The park gave Báo Văn hóa (Culture newspaper) figures for Tet 2026 (Lunar New Year): more than 11,000 visits from the second to the sixth day, with nearly 4,000 on the fifth day. The Thần Tài Festival was scheduled for February 18 to March 4, 2026, daily from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, according to Báo Đà Nẵng and Báo Văn hóa.
For month-by-month weather and crowds across the city, see the best time to visit Da Nang guide.
Onsen and mud bath: what to know before you soak
If you have never used an onsen, the questions are about the water, the rules and the mud. At Nui Than Tai the onsen are open-air stone baths built to Japanese standards, according to the park's own website (archived February 12, 2025), which says the water is treated to hot, warm and cool temperatures and gives no temperature in degrees.
The two temperature figures for the water come from outside the park and describe different water. The newspaper Nhân Dân wrote on July 17, 2022 that water at the spring source reaches 75–80°C (167–176°F), without naming who measured it, and VietnamSpot gives 38–40°C (100–104°F) for the onsen.
The park's archived rules page (January 24, 2025) is one line long. It says guests should not bring food, alcoholic drinks or loudspeakers into the park, though it can also be read as covering only alcoholic food and drinks. Origin Vietnam says guests may bring their own food and drinks, so ask at the counter before packing a picnic. The rules page says nothing about swimwear, tattoos or towels. VietnamSpot says the onsen has separate zones for men and women; treat that as unconfirmed.
The park's website describes the mud tubs as carved from natural stone. It also says the mud's trace minerals help skin and joint problems and that soaking relieves stress and can help treat some illnesses. Those are the park's promotional claims, not medical findings.

Staying at Ebisu Onsen inside the park
If one day is not enough, the park has its own hotel. Ebisu Onsen Resort, the hotel inside Nui Than Tai, listed room rates of 2,200,000–5,700,000 VND (about US$85–221) a night on weekdays and 2,600,000–6,200,000 VND (about US$101–240) at weekends on the Da Nang tourism portal's price page of April 14, 2026. Rates are for two guests (three in Deluxe Triple rooms), with one child under 6 free; extra guests pay a surcharge. Staying guests can use the park's facilities.
The same page gives day-use rates, for guests who check in after 10:00 am and leave by 4:30 pm; overnight guests usually check in from 2:00 pm and check out by noon.
| Room rate | Weekdays | Weekends |
|---|---|---|
| Day use | 1,700,000–3,150,000 VND (about US$66–122) | 2,100,000–3,550,000 VND (about US$81–138) |
| Overnight | 2,200,000–5,700,000 VND (about US$85–221) | 2,600,000–6,200,000 VND (about US$101–240) |
The portal lists hot mineral baths, the onsen, the salt steam room, the sauna, the jacuzzis and the temple among the facilities staying guests can use, and the park's website (archived February 20, 2026) lists free hot mineral water in each room type. The portal's 2016 introduction calls Ebisu a 4-star hotel inspired by Hoi An's old town.
Glamping is priced per guest, at 605,000–905,000 VND (about US$23.5–35) without breakfast and 855,000–1,155,000 VND (about US$33–45) with breakfast, or per tent for one to four guests, at 905,000–2,420,000 VND (about US$35–94) without breakfast and 1,155,000–3,420,000 VND (about US$45–133) with breakfast. Bungalows for up to eight guests cost 500,000–800,000 VND (about US$19.5–31) per unit. Room and tent rates exclude holiday and Tet surcharges, and the portal says prices can change over time, so confirm a rate with the hotel before you book.
Sources and how we checked
We used the Da Nang tourism portal's 2026 price pages for tickets, packages and hotel rates, the park's archived website and booking site for the rules and the onsen, dated news reports and the 2024 annual report for the rest, and each other place's own site or listing for its status, all checked on October 13, 2026. Blogs, tour pages and booking sites are cited as what they say, not as established fact, unless the portal or the park confirms them. This guide covers five places, not every bathhouse in the area. The city's January 22, 2026 admission table still lists the park under Ba Na Commune; this guide uses Hoa Vang, which matches Resolution 1659 and the park's address.
We found no official measurement or survey of the spring's temperature or chemistry for Nui Than Tai, no last-entry time, no shuttle schedule from the park, no bus route to the park in the city's 2026 bus guide, no rule on swimwear, tattoos or towels on the park's archived rules page, no notice of the park closing for rain or storms, and no state star-rating decision for Ebisu.
