Ba Na Hills tickets: prices, what's included and how to get there

Some visitors want the cheapest way to see Ba Na Hills (Bà Nà Hills); others want lunch on the mountain, an evening visit or a free ride from the city. Each of those choices changes what you pay, both for the Ba Na Hills ticket and for getting there. This guide lists the prices on Sun World's own booking site, what the ticket covers and what costs extra, and the ways to get to the cable car station.

How much a Ba Na Hills ticket costs

Your price depends on where you live, how tall you are and how old you are, so check all three before you book. For visitors from outside Da Nang, a Ba Na Hills cable car ticket costs 1,000,000 VND (about US$39) for adults taller than 140 cm and 800,000 VND (about US$31) for children 100–140 cm tall and people aged 70 and over. Children under 100 cm go free.

Visitors from outside Da Nang include foreign visitors and Vietnamese visitors from other provinces. People with permanent residence in Da Nang pay 650,000 VND (about US$25) for adults and 550,000 VND (about US$21.5) for children and people aged 70 and over. They must show the original of their Vietnamese citizen ID card at the gate. The table compares the main tickets on Sun World's booking site for early October 2026.

People aged 70 and over pay 1,150,000 VND (about US$44.5) for the lunch combo, or 890,000 VND (about US$34.5) if they are Da Nang residents, and 1,000,000 VND (about US$39) for the night combo. For an adult visitor, the lunch combo costs less than a cable car ticket plus a separate lunch buffet, which together come to at least 1,380,000 VND (about US$53.5).

Travelers aged 18 to 25 (born 2001–2008) can buy a cable car ticket for 500,000 VND (about US$19.5) from September 1 to December 31, 2026, under Sun World's FIRST 18-25 offer. The offer page lists a passport among the accepted IDs but does not say whether foreign visitors qualify, so ask the Ba Na Hills hotline, +84 905 766 777, before you buy.

What the ticket includes, and what costs extra

Plan your day around what the ticket covers, because several attractions on the mountain charge separately. Sun World says the ticket includes the round-trip cable car and most of the sights at the top, such as the Golden Bridge, the Moon Castle and Fantasy Park. The Golden Bridge opened in 2018 and is nearly 150 m long.

Since September 1, 2026, everything the ticket includes is on a single QR code, which replaces paper coupons. The ticket also includes one food or drink item of your choice: two 250 ml glasses of Sun KraftBeer or a portion of fries at Ba Na Brew House, or one French pastry at the Eric Kayser bakery.

The ticket does not include the light art museum, from 150,000 VND (about US$6); the Debay wine cellar, 100,000–300,000 VND (about US$4–11.5); the alpine coaster, from 70,000 VND (about US$2.5); the climbing attraction, from 100,000 VND (about US$4); or the 10D film and prize games. A lunch buffet bought on its own costs from 380,000 VND (about US$14.5), and the Beer Plaza dinner buffet from 450,000 VND (about US$17.5).

In 2026, one ticket can cover three days in a row, but only if you upgrade it at the ticket office and register your face (FaceID) before your first entry. That rule has applied since May 18, 2026. Some included services, such as a combo's buffet or games, can still be used only once.

Opening hours and the cable car

Check the hours on the day you go, because Sun World says they can change. Ba Na Hills is open 8:00 am–10:00 pm every day, and Sun World's operations page shows which cable car lines and attractions are open.

Sun World lists seven cable car lines. The ride from the foot of the mountain to the top takes about 20–25 minutes on average. Ba Na Hills sits 1,487 m above sea level.

Sun World's guide puts the temperature at the top at around 18–22°C (64–72°F) from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, 24–26°C (75–79°F) from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and 14–16°C (57–61°F) after 7:00 pm, so pack a jacket if you plan to stay into the evening. The guide also says October to February brings more cloud, fog and light rain, so see Da Nang's weather by month before you pick a date.

How to get to Ba Na Hills

Sort out transport when you book your ticket, because the free bus has to be reserved a day ahead. From August 8 to December 31, 2026, Sun World runs a free WOW Bus from the Novotel Danang Premier Han River (36–38 Bach Dang Street) at 8:30 am and 9:30 am, returning from Ba Na Hills at 4:00 pm.

The WOW Bus also stops at East Sea Park (Công viên Biển Đông), opposite My Khe Beach (Mỹ Khê) by DLG Hotel, opposite Vegas Club, and at 99 Vo Nguyen Giap Street. The ride takes about 75–80 minutes each way, the bus picks up only at the listed stops, and seats are limited.

From the airport, public bus route 03 runs to the Ba Na Hills parking lot and costs 30,000 VND (about US$1) for the full route. The first bus leaves the airport at 7:00 am, the last one leaves Ba Na Hills at 7:00 pm, and a trip takes about 60 minutes.

By taxi, Sun World's own guide gives reference fares of about 350,000–420,000 VND (about US$13.5–16.5) one way, or 500,000–600,000 VND (about US$19.5–23.5) for a round trip with about four hours of waiting. Parking at the foot of the mountain is free. For a ride-hailing app, the address is An Son hamlet, Ba Na commune, Da Nang (Thôn An Sơn, xã Bà Nà, Đà Nẵng); before July 1, 2025, it was Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district.

If you buy the night combo, a free shuttle leaves at 2:00 pm from Hiên Nhà Veranda restaurant on Bach Dang Street, the pickup point since July 20, 2026. It returns from Ba Na Hills at 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm.

Refunds, rules and what to bring

Buy online only when your date is fairly certain, because refunds are limited. Sun World's refund policy allows a refund or a date change for an unused online ticket within a five-day window tied to the start date you chose. You can change the date only once, and a valid cancellation is refunded as a voucher, which can only be put toward bookings with a visit date before December 31, 2026.

Sun World also says some areas can close without notice because of weather or special events. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, a rule in place since October 1, 2018. There is a luggage room at the entrance gate area. Combo tickets require an original photo ID at the gate, so carry your passport.

If you are neither 18 to 25 nor a Da Nang resident, the cheapest of the options above is the standard cable car ticket plus the free WOW Bus, which runs until December 31, 2026. For other day trips and sights, see things to do in Da Nang.

Sources and how we checked

We used Sun World's booking site and its own Ba Na Hills pages for prices, hours and rules, and DanaBus for bus route 03, checked on October 1–2, 2026. Where Sun World's pages disagreed, we used the booking site and the most recent page. US dollar amounts use Vietcombank's transfer rate of 25,800 VND per US$ on October 1, 2026, rounded to the nearest cent below US$1, US$0.5 up to US$100, US$1 up to US$10,000 and US$1,000 above that.
